NCERT Launches Bal Vatika TV & DIKSHA 2.0 for Smarter STEM Learning
NCERT has ignited a new chapter in India’s digital education ecosystem by unveiling Bal Vatika TV and the upgraded DIKSHA 2.0 platform, designed to facilitate smarter STEM learning for students nationwide.
Bal Vatika TV, launched on NCERT’s 65th foundation day, is a dedicated broadcast channel offering interactive science shows, real-time experiments, and entertaining quizzes tailored for diverse grade levels. The aim is clear: make foundational concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics accessible and exciting for every learner—urban or rural.
DIKSHA 2.0, the new avatar of India’s National Digital Infrastructure for School Education, introduces AI-powered content recommendations, personalised progress tracking, and teacher-student virtual classrooms.
With mobile-friendly interfaces and advanced search tools, DIKSHA 2.0 supports STEM program educators and learners by offering curated digital resources, animated lessons, coding tutorials, and assessment modules mapped to the latest curriculum guidelines. Through real-time analytics and feedback, students and teachers can monitor understanding and growth, ensuring no one is left behind.
These digital advancements bridge learning gaps, boost digital literacy, and empower teachers to foster curiosity, creativity, and hands-on engagement in STEM fields.
Parents benefit too, gaining easy access to study materials and progress updates from home. By combining national reach, cutting-edge technology, and interactive content, NCERT’s initiatives position STEM workshop learning as an engaging, equitable experience—cultivating future innovators, scientists, and problem solvers for India’s fast-evolving knowledge economy.
