Tholokuhle Primary Wins Top Award for Robotics and Innovation

Tholokuhle Primary School in Richards Bay is honored as district’s bestfor coding and robotics showcasing community-driven STEM success and genderinclusion.

At an interschool showcase in Richards Bay, Tholokuhle Primary earned the “Best School for Coding and Robotics” award from the King Cetshwayo District an inspiring demonstration of schoollevel innovation.

Driving Digital Education

The school’s success stems from the ORT SA Let Kidz Code programme and South32 Hillside partnership. Ninety students, including sixty girls, learned coding and robotics
under eight committed teachers.

Celebrating Achievement

Ms Mlambo, Circuit Manager, presented the award, praising learners’ creativity, problem solving, and teamwork . The school views this as a catalyst for future STEM engagement
and gender equity.
