An ATL lab boosts learning through hands-on projects in robotics, electronics, and coding, while developing students’ problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity skills.
Schools must submit their applications online via the ATL Application Portal, with the link available on the AIM website during submission.
UDISE Code stands for Unified District Information System for Education. You can find any school’s UDISE code via www.schoolreportcards.in.
Steps to find your school’s UDISE code:
Open www.schoolreportcards.in.
Click the Locate School tab near the Home menu.
Fill in the form with details like Academic Year, State, District, Block, Cluster, and Village.
Click Search. The results will show a list of schools with their UDISE codes.
Schools registered in previous phases cannot re-register or submit new applications.
Schools with a minimum area of 1,500 sq.ft (1,000 sq.ft in hilly/island regions), basic facilities like a computer lab with internet, library, playground, and regular staff/student attendance are eligible to apply. Full criteria are in the ATL guidelines on the AIM website.
NITI Aayog provides a Rs. 20 lakh grant, with Rs. 12 lakh disbursed in the first year and the remaining Rs. 8 lakh released in equal instalments over the next four years.
