Schools must apply online through the ATL Application Portal, available on the AIM website during the submission period.

UDISE Code stands for Unified District Information System for Education. You can find your school’s UDISE code anytime at www.schoolreportcards.in:

Steps to check UDISE code:

  1. Visit the website and click on Locate School near the Home menu.

  2. Fill in details like Academic Year, State, District, Block, Cluster, or Village (the more details, the better).

  3. Click Search and wait for results. A list of schools will appear, where you can find your UDISE number.

Schools which have registered in previous phases currently cannot re-register or create new applications.  

 

Schools with a minimum area of 1,500 sq. ft. (or 1,000 sq. ft. in hilly/island regions) and basic facilities like a computer lab with internet, library, playground, and regular staff/student attendance are eligible to apply. Detailed criteria are available in the ATL application guidelines on the AIM website.

NITI Aayog provides financial support of ₹20 lakh as grant-in-aid for ATL labs. Schools receive ₹12 lakh in the first year, while the remaining ₹8 lakh is released in equal installments over the next four years.
