Schools must submit their applications online via the ATL Application Portal, accessible on the AIM website during the application period.
UDISE code stands for Unified District Information System for Education. You can find any school’s UDISE code on the government website www.schoolreportcards.in.
Steps to get your school’s UDISE code:
Visit www.schoolreportcards.in.
Click on the Locate School tab near the Home menu.
Fill in the form with as many details as possible (Academic Year, State, District, Block, Cluster, Village, etc.).
Click Search and wait for the results to find your school’s UDISE code.
Schools with at least 1,500 sq. ft. (1,000 sq. ft. in hilly/island states & UTs), a computer lab with internet, library, playground, and regular staff/student attendance are eligible to apply. Full criteria are available in the ATL guidelines on the AIM website.
NITI Aayog provides a grant of ₹20 lakh for ATL setup, with ₹12 lakh released in the first year and the remaining ₹8 lakh paid in equal installments over the next four years
