Operation Sindoor: A Technological Milestone in India’s Military Strategy

In a bold demonstration of military precision and coordination, India launched “Operation Sindoor”—a midnight operation involving nine airstrikes on terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Conducted jointly by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, it marked one of the most significant anti-terror missions since the 1971 war. Strikes were executed from Indian soil, highlighting India’s commitment to sovereignty while delivering a powerful message against cross-border terrorism. 

A RAF Reaper UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is pictured airborne over Afghanistan during Operation Herrick. It is armed with a full complement of two GBU-12 226kg (500lb) laser-guided bombs and four Lockheed Martin AGM-114P Hellfire air-to-surface missiles. The MQ-9 Reaper is a medium-to-high altitude, long endurance remotely piloted aircraft system. The MQ-9's primary mission is to act as an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) asset, employing sensors to provide real-time data to commanders and intelligence specialists at all levels.
