AI Curriculum Introduced in EFA Schools
In a significant educational reform, the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board has partnered with Microsoft to implement an Artificial Intelligence (AI) curriculum in 53 government-run Education for All (EFA) schools. This pilot project offers a 240-hour AI course to students from Classes 8 to 12, aiming to provide them with cutting-edge technological skills. The initiative has already trained over 1,900 students across Classes 9 to 11, reflecting a proactive approach to modernizing education
Alignment with National Education Policy 2020
The AI curriculum aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, emphasizing the importance of vocational education and skill development. Students receive training in Python programming, a versatile language widely used in web development, data science, machine learning, and software development. This focus ensures that students are not only academically equipped but also prepared for the evolving demands of the technology sector.
Enhancing Employability Through Practical Exposure
Beyond theoretical knowledge, the program emphasizes practical exposure by collaborating with various software companies to provide periodic training sessions.
