An ATL lab boosts learning through hands-on projects in robotics, electronics, and coding, developing students’ creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Schools must submit applications online via the ATL-Application Portal, with the link available on the AIM website during submission.
UDISE (Unified District Information System for Education) codes can be obtained anytime from the government website www.schoolreportcards.in.
Steps to find your school’s UDISE code:
Open www.schoolreportcards.in.
Click on the Locate School tab near the Home menu.
Fill in the form with as many details as possible (e.g., Academic Year, State, District, Block, Cluster, Village).
Click Search. Wait for the results, which will display your school’s UDISE code.
Schools registered in earlier phases cannot re-register or submit new applications
Schools with at least 1,500 sq.ft (1,000 sq.ft in hilly/Himalayan & island regions) and basic facilities—Computer Lab with internet, library, playground, and regular staff/student attendance—are eligible. Full criteria are in the ATL application guidelines on the AIM website.
NITI Aayog provides a grant-in-aid of Rs. 20 lakh, with Rs. 12 lakh disbursed in the first year and the remaining Rs. 8 lakh paid in equal instalments over the next four years.
