The world’s biggest technology expos this October have become the stage for a historic robotics revolution. Across events like GITEX Global in Dubai, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair, and IROS 2025, AI-powered service robots have stolen the spotlight, proving that the era of mechanical assistance is maturing into intelligent companionship.

In Dubai, China’s DEEP Robotics turned heads with its lifelike AI-powered robot dogs. Designed with advanced navigation systems and autonomous decision-making intelligence, these quadrupedal robots can perform hazardous tasks such as emergency response, security surveillance, and search operations. Built to mimic animal agility, they navigate rough terrains better than traditional wheeled robots, earning attention for their ongoing trials in delivery and marketing applications across China, North America, and Europe.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Ten Pao Group used the Electronics Fair to unveil its “AI Power Solutions” lineup, featuring a humanoid robot equipped with smart charging and energy management capabilities. The new generation humanoid is designed to revolutionise industrial energy efficiency by integrating real-time AI decision systems into power management devices. Ten Pao’s display, themed “AI Empowering Power Solution,” offered a glimpse of factories where robots not only assemble electronics but manage energy usage autonomously.

In Hangzhou, the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) highlighted next-generation designs from global innovators like Flexiv Robotics. Their adaptive humanoid prototypes mimic human joint motion and tactile sensitivity, bringing industrial robots closer to real-world human-like flexibility. The company’s Gecko-inspired adaptive grippers and human-perception frameworks showcased how robotics is transcending mechanical repetition to achieve organic movement and task adaptability.

Adding to the momentum, Agibot unveiled its industrial-grade embodied robot, the Agibot G2, combining real-time decision-making powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 processor and multimodal voice interactions. Capable of learning tasks like delicate assembly, warehouse navigation, and guided facility tours, it highlights the rise of cognitive robotics redefining manufacturing and logistics.

The expo floor this October echoed with the hum of servo motors and the chatter of innovation leaders envisioning a world that runs on intelligent automation.
