What will you learn in this program?

Market Research

Learning market research is essential for starting a successful business. It helps them gain valuable insights into understanding their customers, recognizing market demands, and identifying competitors. Mastering these skills sets the foundation for making informed decisions and building innovative business strategies.

Product & Service Development

Kids will focus on creating products and services that meet customer needs. They’ll refine ideas through feedback and research, learning creativity, problem-solving, and innovation to stand out in the market.

Building Your Brand

Building your brand is a key step for any entrepreneur for the future. It’s about creating a unique identity that reflects your business’s values, vision, and what makes it special. Kids can learn to design logos, create catchy names, and craft messages that resonate with their audience. Teaching branding helps kids understand how to stand out and connect with customers, laying the groundwork for a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Preparing Your Pitch Deck

A pitch deck helps kids present their business ideas clearly and confidently. It highlights key points like the problem, solution, market research, goals, and financial plans. Designing slides teaches kids to organize their ideas, while practicing builds communication skills.

Inventory Management

Inventory management helps kids learn to organize and track products, a key skill for future entrepreneurs. It shows them how to balance stock levels to meet demand without overspending. Simple activities like tracking items or planning resources teach organization and problem-solving, building a strong foundation for managing resources effectively.

Budgeting & Financing

Children who gain knowledge about financing and budgeting are more prepared to manage money effectively for their businesses. By engaging in simple exercises, they can learn to create budgets, track expenses, and understand profits. This fosters financial discipline and equips them to navigate real-world challenges as aspiring entrepreneurs.

Growth & Scaling

Growth and scaling introduce kids to the concept of expanding a business. They learn how to set goals, improve products or services, and reach more customers. These skills encourage innovative thinking and help kids envision how to grow their business ideas sustainably over time.

Fisherman Fund Challenge

The Fisherman Fund Challenge is a Shark Tank-style activity where kids pitch creative business ideas to peers and trainers acting as “sharks.” Working in teams, they brainstorm solutions, develop unique pitches, and present using visuals or props. Makers’ Muse prepares students with comprehensive STEM programs, covering everything from coding and robotics to drones, blockchain, and the latest technologies like AR and VR. Through activities like In Challenge, students can pitch their innovative business ideas to potential investors. If selected, their ideas could receive funds, giving them the opportunity to bring their concepts. With hands-on labs and real-world experiences, students gain the certifications, skills, and confidence needed to excel in high-demand STEM careers and entrepreneurial ventures.
